Time to define your goals

Here’s one of THE most important things you need to do in order to find success and get more out of life. It’s actually very simple, but so many people overlook it. The key to success is to identify what you want to achieve. After all, if you don’t know what you want, how will know when you’ve got it?

Not having a definite goal is like getting in your car and driving along the highway with no idea of where you’re going. That’s fine if, like Chuck Berry, you’re just “Crusin’ and playin’ the radio/ With no particular place to go.” Yet we all have something we want to achieve in life.

Some people dislike the term “goal”. It smacks of being aggressive and competitive. If you don’t like to use the term “goal” try using the term “target” or “objective”.

But you need to know WHAT you want to achieve. Don’t worry at this point about HOW you’re going to achieve it (we’ll cover that tomorrow and the next day).

Write your goals down. This is very important.

When we say write, we REALLY mean write. PHYSICALLY write it down. Put a pen or pencil to paper and write your goal out – don’t just type it on your computer. Writing cements the goal/target/objective in a different part of your brain to just thinking it or saying it out loud. This means you’re more likely to remember it.

Next, place this written goal somewhere you will see it often – on a Post-it Note next to your computer screen, for example. Now you’ll (literally) never lose sight of your goal, and will be constantly reminded of it.

From now on your actions will have a purpose instead of being random, and will take you closer to achieving your goal. Just like when you get in your car with a particular destination in mind.

Our guide to finding success and getting more out of life puts all this into perspective. Get your copy from here: https://payhip.com/b/F2c6
